Technology vs. Privacy

Managing Partner Craig J. Staudenmaier has authored an article, entitled “Technology vs Privacy” for the July/August issue of The Pennsylvania Lawyer. The article is a prelude to a panel discussion of privacy and the impact of social media on Wednesday, July 16th at Penn State University’s Lehigh Valley branch campus, hosted by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Bar/Press Committee and PCN. The discussion, moderated by Brian Lockman, President of PCN, includes panelists Justice Correale Stevens of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Professor Matthew Jackson, Chair of the Department of Telecommunications at Penn State University, and Kay Murray, Esq., Assistant General Counsel for the Tribune Co., which owns media entities throughout the country including The Morning Call in Allentown and Fox43 in Harrisburg.  The audience of primarily college students will be encouraged to submit questions to the panel. Craig and David Erdman, Editor of The Morning Call, are the event organizers.
