Cohen Seglias is excited to announce that the firm is expanding its Harrisburg, Pennsylvania office with the arrival of Nauman Smith attorneys Joshua Bonn, Benjamin Dunlap, Jr., Stephen Feinour, Craig Staudenmaier and Nicholas Schwartz. The five attorneys, along with the Nauman Smith team of administrative professionals, are set to join Cohen Seglias on February 1. Long-time senior partner Spencer Nauman, Jr. announced his retirement effective January 31 after more than 62 years with the firm.

Nauman Smith was founded in 1871 and has the longest legacy of any law firm in Harrisburg, celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2021. The firm is known for handling several landmark cases that impacted the region’s railroad industry in the areas of safety and employment relations. Nauman Smith also developed a niche practice in right-to-know and media law regarding access to public records.
As resident partner of Cohen Seglias’ Harrisburg office since 2007, Williams has worked with several members of the Nauman Smith team over the years. “I know that their core values align well with our culture, including a strong commitment to client service and legal excellence. About Joshua D. Bonn
Bonn is a trial attorney representing clients in railroad, media, land use, and insurance matters and has been involved with numerous high-profile cases. He has extensive experience representing municipalities, individuals, and media entities in public records litigation. Additionally, Bonn routinely briefs and argues open records appeals in the Office of Open Records and trial and appellate courts. A former assistant district attorney in York County, Bonn is now the solicitor for Paxtang Borough and the Capital Tax Collection Bureau.
About Benjamin C. Dunlap Jr.
Dunlap concentrates his practice in business and employment law for companies ranging in size from startups to major national corporations. He works with companies and non-profits on matters involving employment, termination, non-compete and independent contractor agreements, as well as litigation arising from these issues, including employment discrimination claims. Dunlap handles LLC formations and the drafting of operating agreements. He assists clients with contract reviews, especially software and technology vendor agreements. In addition, Dunlap works with railroads on regulatory, contractual and property issues for Class I railroads and general corporate, operating agreement and employment matters for short-line railroads. He also advises on copyright and trademark matters, including registrations, for business clients.
About J. Stephen Feinour
Feinour represents large and medium-sized businesses and individuals in business law, real estate, litigation, estate planning, and estate administration matters. He provides strategic counsel to business owners on formation, dissolution, ownership, and succession plans. Feinour also assists clients with wealth and asset preservation and estate administration, including multi-generation family-owned businesses.
Additionally, Feinour has extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions and works with municipalities as solicitor on land development issues. He advises residential clients on land use issues such as eminent domain actions and represents railroad clients in real estate and eminent domain matters.
About Craig J. Staudenmaier
Staudenmaier concentrates on right-to-know and media law in Pennsylvania and has been at the forefront of issues and landmark cases stemming from the Commonwealth’s open records and meetings laws. He routinely represents the media, businesses, and private individuals in public records and open meetings access matters, as well as issues involving the subpoena of reporters, privacy, and defamation claims. Staudenmaier serves as general counsel to the Pennsylvania Freedom of Information Coalition. He also has a litigation practice representing railroad clients in employee claims, crossing accidents, and property damage.
About Nicholas O. Schwartz
Schwartz assists clients with estate planning and administration needs, focusing on wealth management, tax minimization, and asset preservation. He regularly guides individuals through executing power of attorney documents, wills, trusts, and other complex estate documents, such as special needs trusts. Schwartz also counsels families who need to petition for guardianship of an incapacitated loved one. He helps clients navigate the probate and trust administration process, whether simple or complex.
